Fifteen years of clinical nursing experience. Twenty years of case management, disability management, and managed care experience. Case management experience includes workers' compensation, auto, liability, long term disability, social security disability, Jones Act and longshore cases. Includes auto, liability, long term disability, longshore, Jones Act, and workers' compensation cases. Provides expert witness testimony.

1997-1998 Manager, Humana Workers' Compensation Services
Managed large insurance company's Managed Care Arrangement (MCA) for 17 counties in Florida, involving 70,000 covered lives. Supervised case management of workers' compensation claims. Managed daily operation including hiring and training of staff, profitability, and customer service. Implemented service for largest new customer, a public entity with 160,000 employees in Florida.

1995-1996 Product Manager, Kemper National Services
Provided new product development and product management for nationwide market. Integrated the disability management of ill or injured workers across product lines of short term disability, long term disability and workers' compensation. Successfully marketed and implemented services to national companies. Authored implementation manual for employers.

1993-1995 Director of Managed Care and Business Development, Columbia/HCA Hospital (224 beds)
Acquired and negotiated managed care contracts on behalf of hospital and medical staff. Developed new workers' compensation emergency room service. Sold and implemented this new service to area employers. Achieved 170 percent of sales/marketing goal.

1978-1993 Consultant, Travelers Insurance Companies and subsidiary, Conservco
Over 15 year career span, provided case management/disability management, managed and marketed a multi-state service center, provided national product management, and served as national consultant for new product development. Resulted in improved outcomes, cost savings, customer retention and sales.
