August 2007: ABL Case Management Solutions is active in professional and community organizations.  In December 2007, ABL President, Jill Luhrsen, will  complete her second year as immediate past president of the Palm Coast Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (PCARN).  She served as PCARN's president for 2 years beginning January 2003 and ending December 2005.  During her tenure as president the organization's membership grew from 16 members to 63 members.

June 2007: Jill Luhrsen was installed as treasurer of the Rotary Club of West Palm Beach.  The club has 120 members.  As the clubs treasurer, Luhrsen is a member of the club's executive committee and is in line to assume the presidency in June 2010.  Rotary is an international organization comprised of local business leaders.  The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.   The Rotary Foundation, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), has eradicated polio from almost every country in the world.  Polio exists in only a few remaining countries and the effort continues to eradicate it entirely. 

ABL Case Management Solutions was proud to sponsor the association of Workers' Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP).   The September 10th conference at the Tampa Convention Center was a great success.  ABL is keeping on top of the new HIPAA regulations and changes to workers' compensation laws in Florida. Jill Luhrsen, our president, enjoyed seeing familiar faces from 28 years in this business and it was a pleasure making new contacts. Laura Luhrsen Lindsey, VP Customer Service, hosted ABL's first exhibit booth, complete with football paddleball toys for kids big and small! Did you know?  ABL Case Management Solutions was nominated for the Florida Family Business of the Year award?  We are proud to have been recognized by the University of Tampa's John Sykes College of Business in such a meaningful way.

ABL Case Management Solutions was a sponsor and hosted an exhibit booth at the 7th Bi-Annual Claims Professional Conference held at the Lakeland Civic Center on March 23rd and 24th.

ABL Case Management Solutions also appeared for the Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) conference at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. We enjoyed sharing our business with this group of public entity professionals. ABL Case management Solutions will host an exhibit booth, so if you missed us at the WCCP conference, come see Jill and Laura this time around. We welcome the opportunity to share our business with you. Our company golfer, Greg Lindsey, made us proud at the tournament on Sunday, Oct 11 even bringing home "Closest to the Pin" award.

As of July 2003, ABL Case Management Solutions is the exclusive provider for medical and vocational field case management for the City of Ocala and Marion County. ABL is proud to provide its service through United Self Insured Services. ABL's professional case managers are ready to assist employees of the city and county, law enforcement, and emergency response personnel who are injured on the job. Nurse case managers, working under the direction of the adjuster, assure that injured workers get appropriate medical care in a cost-effective and timely manner.

ABL's vocational consultants do assessments and re-employment services resulting in job placement and return to work. The professional nurse case managers and vocational consultants work diligently to minimize lost time while maximizing recovery of the injured worker.
